I was trying to update the Finite Element Model (FEM) of a 40ft long railway track that we had in our laboratory. The railway track, which has rails that are almost periodically constrained on sleepers, behaves like a multi-span beam. Therefore, I have gone through an extensive literature review on FEM updating to try to find the most efficient method to update the railway track. I ended up not following this task further since our funded project required more important tasks. However, I wanted to list all the papers that I found for FEM updating here for people who will get into FEM updating.
I am basically screen shooting my folder (please see below). I grouped most of the papers based on the approaches that they used or on what they tried to accomplish. Here is what each letter at the beginning of the name of the papers stand for:
A: General Review Papers
AR: Anti-resonance
D: Damage
F: Flexibility
S: Sensitivity
T: Transmissibly
R: Regularization
NN: Neural Network
MO: Multi-objective Optimization
B: Bayesian
